is it possibile to RESET the alarm on a 99 disco 2 ?

If the driver's door lock is working properly, and the BCU is configured in the usual way, when you unlock the door with the key, it should disable the alarm.

sam thing happened to me. solved
similar thing happened to me. Alarm went off and ran battery dead. The buttons on my keys have not worked in long time. I took the battery out and charged it. When i put it back in the alarm went off. It would not start. I took the advice of someone on this site and turned key to UNLOCK position for 5 sec. IT WORKED!!!!! Kindly, Jacob
