Thanks, good points. Someone had told me to check the tank since it’s sat for a while. Is there anything special I should do since it’s sat for a while and I’ve turned the engine maybe 10 times by hand for the timing chain and everything? Just put the plugs in and get pressure to the new oil pump with the fuel relay pulled? Or with a spoon of MMO in each cylinder and without plugs and fuel relay at first? I’m really not understanding if there’s anything special I should do beyond just starting it like others have said when you’ve installed a new oil pump (and water pump and PS pump, but I know those procedures).

Just put everything together and start the truck.

Don't overthink it.

I understand you are being careful. That's great. But this much anxiety is not healthy.
