Hello to all!

I am considering buying a Discovery, from 96-2000 year models, and I have just a few questions. From my research I have noticed that there is a considerable number of '99 Discovery's with blown head gasket.
1) Is this a problem with this year, or was it that I found the only hand-full of '99's out there with this issue.
2) One of the reasons that I am considering the Discovery is the 7 pass. seating. Some of the Rovers don't have the rear jump seats and I was wondering how hard it would be to install a set that did not come with it?
3) Is there anything else that I need to be on the look out for when it comes this suv. Besides the real obvious ones.

Blown head gaskets are a problem on DII's because the previous owner did not change the coolant every 2 years.
DII's come with DexCool from the factory, if you do not change it per LR's recommendations it will eat the gaskets.
The 7 pass seating is a joke, it is for kids, no normal sized adult will enjoy sitting back there.
However in a pinch drive across town they will work just fine.
It is easier to add the jump seats to a DI then a DII, but it can be done.
The jump seats are hard to come buy used and very expensive new.
So if you must have the 7 pass then buy it that way.
You MUST use premium gas.
If you buy a DII then you MUST get the front driveshaft rebuilt with greasable u-joints.
Other than the normal stuff to look for...nothing special.
