We love the Discovery's styling and capability and have been keeping an eye opened for one for some time. We found a local one for sale. Here are the specs:

-2001 SD
-69,000 miles
-Asking $11,500
-Great cosmetic condition

Besides the normal items one inspects when purchasing a used vehicle (oil sludge, burnt tranny fluid, leaks, shift points, service record, etc.) what particular things should we be aware of?

I am a Jeep guy (please do not hold it against me) and know very little about LR other than what I have read on here. Any input is very much appreciated.
