Good morning,

I am new to the forum and just have a question about the power seats wiring.

I picked up a pair of 2002 Discovery Seats for an old pickup truck. I have read the wiring diagrams and cannot figure it out. I have the seat control modules, now I just need to figure out how to get power to the seats. If someone could please help me, that would be great.

First attached file is from the passenger seat, second is of the driver seat..

There are 4 wires for the passenger seat & driver seat:
Purple & Brown(from the thickness I am assuming 12v)
Orange & White
Purple & Orange
Black (ground I am assuming)

What do the other 2 go to?

You can download the factory wiring diagram, check the stickies at the top of the forum.

 

And here I would love to get rid of my power seats and get some nice simple manual seats for disco. I rarely adjust them, so the power part is kind of useless for me.

 

has anybody been able to get the seat back to tilt we have wired all the five switches in but we cannot get the seat back to tilt or the head rests to move but we cannot find a wiring diagram that matches the colours it is so frustrating any help appreciated
