I thought about it, but the gas savings would never offset the purchase cost. Definitely not going to do any dangerous rigging. I've not been actively looking for things to change to gain mpgs. Just happened to notice it when I ran without waiting on rebuild parts to come and didn't mind not having it.

 

I've thought about it, but electric pumps are kinda expensive (last time I checked. Been a couple of years) and I've got a pretty new water pump on it. That said, if I could find one for >$60 I'd be game to try it.

The financial issues are short term, gentlemen, and self inflicted. I've just got some credit card debt I'm trying to get gone asap. Never much liked owing anyone money.

I'm not in a tight spot or anything. Just some college kid trying to keep from accuring debt where I can. Always been a bit of a tight-wad.

Also, I'm updating the steering difficulty scale after I paid closer attention driving this morning. It's easier than initially advertised.
