Power Steering Hose repair - working PSI?

Power Steering Hose repair - working PSI?
So while doing the inline therm mod, (I live in the desert right now, it's 80 most days), I accidentally sliced a neat little slit in the power steering hose that runs under the lower radiator hose.
There is now, a healthy leak from it.
It's this one: Power Steering Hose Pump To Box (Genuine Part # QEP105481) - Land Rover steering from Atlantic British
So after berating myself for awhile, and thinking, I figure the thing HAS to be reparable. I've had hydraulic hoses repaired on my forklifts before, and they held up as well as anything. They consistently work at 3000PSI.
So 2 questions:
1) it appears these things have some kind of quick-connect to the cooler - special tool required? In the RAVE? O-rings have to be replaced when changing/disconnecting?
2) Does anyone out there know the working pressure of this hose? Based on the crimps and rubber part, it can't be that much, but knowing that would let me fix my idiocy for cheap, rather than shell out $165 for a replacement.
In the meantime, I'll get these door lock actuators done.....
at least its nice outside.
Thanks in advance for the help ladies/gents!
