Default Power Steering Pump=Vibration Issues

Hi guys. I'm in the need of a lil assistance. I recently replaced my PS pump. Afterwards, I have a slight vibration during initial startup, idling and take off. It also vibrates a little while idling at a traffic light, etc. Does anyone have any earthly idea what's possibly going on here?. Its driving me crazy guys.

Bad bearing, bent shaft or pulley.

Default Thanks Mike

I'm pretty handy around my 1999 Disco (156,000 miles). I do most of the maintanance/upkeep myself. I've searched the posts to no avail. Plus, I've downloaded the RAVE CD. I'm NOT an idiot Mike. I would just like a little more clarification so I will know exactly what to do.

Question Mike:
(1) Where are the bearings located and how do I replace them?
(2) Where and which possible bent shaft are referring to?
(3) Are you talking about the Crankshaft Pulley might be bad?

Thanks for all that you do for the Rover enthusiast.

If the problems began after changing your PAS pump, I would assume all parts referred to my Mike would be pump related: pump bearing, pump shaft, pump pulley. Did you get a new, rebuilt, or used pump assembly?

The quickest and easiest test would be to remove the belt, and see if the vibration continues. Do this on a cold engine so as to not overheat it!!
