Power steering pump

Power steering pump
I changed my oil today. While I was under there I noticed my power steering pump was covered in fluid. Reservoir is a little low and it no longer bubbles in the reservoir. Heard a grinding growl coming from that area this morning. Is there a aftermarket pump I could buy or rebuild kit anything else recommended to do change power steering hoses??
Any advice on this one would be appreciative
thanks

Here is a kit for you guy, on the other hand if your pump itself is making noise its probably on its way out and a seal kit will not help a failing pump it will just stop the leaks. If its just leaking and made a noise from being low you could even grab a tube of sealant and use that instead of a gasket set.
British parts of Utah and Atlantic British have good prices on new pumps.
Call Rob, @ M.I.T. Automotive Solutions, LLC (303) 679 1610 he has HD pumps
Figured I would put the BAD news at the end
The reservoir holds the fluid, when the engine is running the PS pump is turning and circulating the fluid. The fluid travels from the reservoir to the pump then to the steering box and finally returning to the reservoir. So if your fluid us just sitting still it means its no longer circulating & that means you have a bad pump

Sounds like the seal isn't the only problem with this pump, so I wouldn't waste my time trying to reseal it.
Get a new pump. Take my word for it, trying the used route is a crap shoot at best. Mine went out last December and between then and March 2012 I pulled and replaced it 3x before I bit the bullet and just bought a new one.

Sorry to hijack this forum
I recently put in a power steering pump due to the demise of my original pump, steering was a little loose but my indy landrover mechanic tightened her up, she steers and feels much better now but, every once in a while the steering seems like its binding up, any suggestions? PS All new tie end rods, draglink bars

Need to inspect all components at this point for wear or damage. I understand you have quite a few parts but anything can happen maybe you can have a look over the truck while some one assists you in turning steering wheel for you. I would have a good look under the bonnet at steering linkage.
