Default power steering pump

I have replaced my original pump with a remanufactured one and it lasted less than 6 months. Here in Virginia my local parts store says they are out of stock and 4- 6 weeks backordered on replacement of the remanufactured pump. Can anyone recommend a source/options in obtaining a pump ? Thanks in advance

Your reman should have either a 12 month or a lifetime warranty, but if you want new I went with an AllMakes Pro I bought from Rovers North and it's been great. It arrived in one day. Check online for the best price and then get whoever can get it to you quickest to match the price.

The remanufactured pump did come with a lifetime warranty which is mainly why I purchased the A1cardone at a local Napa but I never figured the manufacturer would be backordered. Must be waiting for the parts container from China to arrive. I really do not have the time or patience to keep replacing every six months. I do not mind paying more for something that will last.

I am sure others have had a similar experience right?
I did find a pump on ebay listed as new for a great price just waiting for feedback before I pull the trigger

There are new pumps available that are made in China, many of the ones listed on eBay seem to be sourced there. Not sure how long they hold up for. The AllMakes one I installed is made in the UK. I have more faith in it because it is sold by a reputable LR supplier in the US.
