My 01 disco went in for a power steering pump replacement. My very trustworthy mechanic called me today to give me a update. He told me that while removing the power steering pump he broke a bolt (I think to the motor but not sure what he said) and that he called a land rover dealer to find the bolt and they told him that its a special bolt that comes with the power steering pump when you buy it. They basically told him they cant get the bolt. I bought a pump from will tillery but no bolts came with it. Has anyone heard of this special bolt that LR dealer is talking about or had any problems similar to this??? Any help would be appricated....

 

Get a used bolt from a breaker.

 

From what remember the PAS has two bolts and then a stud from the block, is it the stud that he broke?
