Power steering whine, even after new pump..
When replacing steering gear box or pump, I usually turn wheels lock to lock with the engine off a few times, then do the same with the engine running. Letting fluid settle and checking and filling as needed. This should get the majority of the air out. If it doesn't, then bleeding the gear box is necessary.

Works well now. I did bleed the box. No air. I noticed how discolored my fluid was, even after removing all that I could during pump installation. So, got out the turkey baster and sucked it all out of the tank, added more clean, started the motor, shut it down and did the same thing again. So much better.
Thanks for the help!
