Default problem with my disco 2 brakes

I have a problem with my brakes, When I apply my brakes first it feels normal then suddenly the pedal sinks lower then it feels like it is grinding, vibrating or shuddering. A few months ago the 3 amigos showed up but the lights went away after i turned it off and started it again and it has not come back since. Can please does someone have any idea what is going on or can help me?

Sounds like one or more of the following:
  • Oil leak onto the discs or pads.
  • Worn out disc pads or rotors.
  • Wheel bearings badly worn.
  • Master cylinder may be defective.
