Unhappy Problems with my DII

As of the past year I have had the head gaskets replaced as well as an engine temperature sensor, due to an overheating problem. Put on new front brakes, new front rotors as well as new tires all around along with a balancing.
The Problems:
Internal
1.) the unlock feature works for all of the locks except for the rear passenger door
2.) cruise control has worked but unfortunately recently, does not set when I press the + button
3.) rear fog light switch lights up and turns on the back lights, however front fog lights do not show any light on switch and do not turn on
4.) back seat, when put in upright position does not lock into place (rear passenger side)
External
1.) when i drive the car, the service engine soon will come on and off periodically with the car making a tone (sometimes the tone is accompanied by the light other times there is no light and a tone) this has occured for the past month
- in regards to this the only thing that I have noticed is that around the second or third gear as the car drives, it almost has a throb that you feel as it stays within that gear, and until you accelerate or decelerate it will continue to do so (maybe the pistons not firing properly)
-I have however changed the oil within the past week, checked brake fluid and other fluids and determined that they are all up to par

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Are you three amigos on? If you are hearing chiming, but not seeing any SES, I would guess that someone may have covered up your three amigo lights. When you start the truck, do you see the ABS, HDC, and TC light up and then go off as a bulb check?

No three amigos, just that sometimes the service engine light will come on and sometimes there's that chime along with it

1.) the unlock feature works for all of the locks except for the rear passenger door

Replace back door lock mechanism. This is a unit with an electric motor in it.

2.) cruise control has worked but unfortunately recently, does not set when I press the + button

Press the + button lightly about 20 times to clean the contacts. never press it hard.
Check all hoses for cracks.
Make sure the brake pedal is fully UP. There is a vacuum valve attached to it.

3.) rear fog light switch lights up and turns on the back lights, however front fog lights do not show any light on switch and do not turn on

rear fog light have their own switch.
As do the front fog lights.
Two completely different buttons.

4.) back seat, when put in upright position does not lock into place (rear passenger side)

Find the latch and inspect it.
Look for seat belts jammed in.

If the check engine light come on when you are driving it -
this means CATALYTIC converter damage is occurring.

SCAN it for additional codes.
do not drive it like this.

1.) the problem with the door is it very infrequently will actually unlock, so I'm not leaning towards that at all maybe a fuse or something of that nature

3.) as for the rear fog light and front one I know they are 2 different buttons, I was asking whether or not they are setup on a fuse or not

4.)I have already checked the seat with your recommendations, but I am saying that in the up right position it does not lock in place in fact the latch itself at the top next to the headrest is up and not down in the lock position (in the position that it would be when you pull the latch up, basically stuck)

For the engine light I don't have a code scanner yet

Stop by a parts store, and most will read codes for free. If considering a purchase, look at an Ultra Gauge, whic reads and resets codes, plus displays live data.
