Default Procomp Mud Terrains?

I need to buy tires, ProComp has a great deal on wheels and tires, buy 3 get1 free, so I want to buy the wheels and tires. Any one runs these procomp mud terrains? They look nice but who knows unless youve ran them? I'm going with there black steelies because I want an 8 inch wide stance and the offset is out for a little bitwider footprint. I do like my stockers but this is a good deal on steelies.

You should give Cerrone's a call. They use ProComp tires on their vehicles.

Not their mud terrain tires. They may sell bias ply's, but I have not seen them. Probably not a huge demand anymore.

I just switched to Goodyear MT/R tires from Tread Wright. They work really well and I am impressed with the quality and how well they balanced out.

What ply tires are those goodyear m/t. 5=$508, thats is cheap, and I like the way they look. But it doesnt give you specs. The G-ultra is out of stock but the G is in, Iwander what the difference is?

The MT-G tires I bought from them (245/75R16) use the Goodyear MT/R tire carcass. My tires are E load rated and are 3 ply sidewalls with all the Goodyear off road enhancements (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....rangler+MT%2FR).

If I did not tell people they are retreads no one would know. They look and perform just like the Goodyear MT/R tire. One difference is a harder tread compound is used, so expect longer tread life and maybe less grip on slick rocks compared to the softer MT/R rubber.

Cheers,

Pete

I have 31x10.50/15 Pro Comp X-Terrains on my 99 DII. They are a great aggressive all-terrain tire. They are great in sand and gravel. They are almost as good or as good in mud as most mud tires. They are better on-road than a mud tire as well.

I also run 35" Pro Comp Extreme All Terrains on My Dodge Ram diesel. I am very impressed with them as well.

BTW, I used BMW 15" steel wheels onmy DII. They are relatively easy to find and cheap.
