My old DI had one on the front shaft, but is this something that is supposed to be on my truck, and what exactly does it do and where does it fit?
I am pretty sure i have this on both my front and rear propshaft. As the front/rear axle raises/lowers as you go over bumbs the prop shaft extends in/out of itself the gator goes where the shaft slides in/out to keep dirt out. I have a rebuilt front shaft from Tom Woods so the front may not have came stock with a gator.
