Default Discovery 2 Propshaft Failures

Guys,

I am on the final hurdle proving that the problem with the Discovery 2 front propshaft is a design fault to Land Rover.

I just need to know specifically what engine and gearbox you guys have experienced the front propshaft damage on.

If you could please vote in the above poll i'd appreciate it.

If there's anything you want to share, age, mileage, and any details of what happened when the shaft broke or any communication you made with Land Rover that would also be greatly appreciated.

Regards

David.

We already know that, have for years, so whats the need to fester over it, fix it and get on with your life. Believe me Roivers have more little issues to keep us going then the lack of grease fittings.

Yeah, like:
-Roto Flex couplers
-Sunroofs that leak, which they attempt to remedy by using draintubes. Oh, and they rattle when open
-Mysterious Coolant leaks (sometimes it leaks, sometimes it don't)
-Power Steering leaks
-Oil leaks (more than my 2 Harleys combined) I wont even park in anyone's driveway
-Three amigos
-Having to scour the country to find a $5 wheel stud instead of having to by the whole wheel flange for $389.00. (Thank You RoverLand Parts, Tampa, FL)
-Crappy factory pads and rotors.(Love my R1 Concepts from Ebay!!)
-Bottle jack that squirts oil in your eye when you let it down.
-Crawling underneath and using my finger as a tranny dipstick

All the above I've had to adress in my 1st year of ownership! Now I never leave home without my jackstands, overalls, and toolbox. My wife makes fun of me because she barely changes the oil in her Ford Explorer and she can't kill the thing, I am under my Disco almost every other weekend. But hey....

.....Pimpin' ain't easy
