Propylene Glycol Coolant/Antifreeze

Nu uh. Ethylene glycol and distilled water only. Performance additives such as Water Wetter are also recommended. DexCool in the '00s killed these trucks. Now we stick with what works. No more experimentation needed. Those "latest & greatest, Eco-friendly" chemicals corroded the cooling system from the inside-out. If you still have the Tropical Punch KoolAid looking stuff in your truck you should have flushed that out the day you bought it.

Propylene glycol has been around for years and often used as an antifreeze in unused potable water systems but is more corrosive and has different properties than ethylene glycol. Some mfgs. now seem to offer it with anti-corrosive additives as a more environmentally friendly, "pet safe" & usually more expensive coolant.
Short term use of cheap RV quality to save a few bucks or if worried about your pets would not likely cause severe corrosion overnight.
As chubbs878 said it's best to avoid.
