had to put a cap on a couple trucks because when they welded up the cat's at the factory,they weren't tucked up close to the frame...Also if you have worn or broken motor mounts and don't catch it, it's gonna hit. It's a 1 dollar part and a a couple of minutes to cap it...

Can you guys elaborate on your concerns here? Im lost now. I dont have a lift of my own so its difficult to take pics of the underbody, but my new propshaft is installed and it looks pretty much like ZG's. Again the only thing I am worried about is how close the grease fitting on the tubing of the shaft is to the cats. I ulled the little rubber cap off to re-grease it and have not put it back on because I assumed the cats would melt it.
