Default Puking Coolant

I got home today and when I pulled into the driveway, shutdown and got out of the 2003 Disco II, it was puking coolant and steam pouring out from under the hood. Noticed yesterday it was about an inch low in the coolant tank, but today it was totally empty when it was done puking. The temp guage did not spike anywhere above the normal range for the whole 50 mile drive home from work. I did notice that the coolant tank cap was not on tight, but it was on.

I am about to break out Rave and start reading. Pointers on where to start are appreciated.

It has the 60k service about a month ago and got a new thermostat at that time. All hoses appear to be tight and I do not see any signs of leaks near the hose fittings. I have noticed a slight coolant smell after longer drives, but coolant tank was never more than an inch low and there were never any spots or drops on the ground.

TIA, all.

Any better hints on where it was leaking from?
Throttle body heater plate is one common leak, head gaskets is the other.

TB heater plate is a easy fix.
Sorry you have been having so much trouble with your truck.

No apparent leaks anywhere. It looks like it all come from to coolant reservoir. There were puddles on top of it.
