So I got the p0441 in my code box. Just do the Hyundai valve? The auto parts store here said they didnt have it but they had a 42 dollar equal.

So with the 0441 code a simple change of the purge valve fixes it? Nothing is ever that easy

Grab the Genuine Hyundai unit off of Ebay for like 10-15.00. I’ve cured P0441 with em for years.

Didn’t have the P/N handy but a quick search found my own post from earlier this year.

I will be able to clean mine with brake cleaner using an extra battery I had to toggle the valve open and closed as I sprayed brakleen in it. I did that six months ago, and the code has not returned.

Is there any noticeable symptom to having a bad purge valve?

I’ve only had one D2 act horrible when the Purge Control Valve was bad. I had an 02 that ran fine & then out of the blue it would nearly completely die. It never set a fault, but one day it finally did & it was just a P0441. It did still have the original Bosch unit so I replaced it & it never did it again. Ran superb after I replaced it & it never wanted to just stall out again.
