went on easy and gets rid of the huge plastic snow plow that came as standard equip. I'm not running a winch now so there was no need to cut the grill. and only weights 80 pounds.

yeah, the Terrafirma is definately a sweet bumper, I just like the look of those A-bars on the TJM. The absolute best I've seen is the Tactical Rovers bumper, but with a new baby, I just can't justify the cost.

ralphobell- thanks for pointing out the tow hooks on the EE rig, I hadn't noticed them when looking at that option. so either the winch tray mount (which I'm not too fond of the sound of that) or the tow hooks. bottom line is, I'm just trying to make sure the TJM can safely do recovery points, and the tow hooks look as if that is the case. please correct me if I'm wrong on that, and as always- thanks guys.

Here's a picture of the Custom 4x4 bumper... It has everything that I'll want or need on a bumper. And, the website... C4x4

The website shows that it's for a D1, but I've been in contact with them and it will fit the D2 also.

So who has the best price for the TJM bumper? I don't see anything on Lucky8's website.

I think a lot of people confuse Terrafirma with TJM. The TJM bumper goes for around $850 plus shipping whereas the Terrafirma is a lot cheaper. Do a google search for TJM bumpers for Land Rover and not only will you come up with the manufacturers site but also the names of a few retailers here in the US.

I have a TJM on my DII and would be willing to trade it for a clean bumper and cash. It has the winch tray and two recovery hooks as well as Hella fogs. It's not perfect but it's a brute.

We have many great options available. I have a D2 with the Equipe front bumper which I loved, but unfortunately can no longer get. Seeing as my mother in law needs a motor for her D2, that truck is getting scrapped so the bumper is for sale.
My most recent D2 has the TF front bumper which I really like the lines of. I am adding an aftermarket light bar to it so you could go that route and get your a-bar look. Tactical makes a great bumper, but their powdercoating leaves something to be desired. My LR3 bumper from them lasted one season.
If you like the looks of those bumpers, we are now offering one from Platinum Motorsports, and it is real nice. I've included photos. Price for forum members is $850/shipped.

The Custom 4x4 bumper reminds me of the old Scorpion Racing bumper I had on my RRC. It would also fit a DI and was very clean and built like a brick s#@t house.

Thanks for the replies! I'm finally getting around to replacing my bumper - it has been busted for years and I'm finally tired of looking at the holes where the fog lights used to be...

Hey Paul, will that bumper fit a 2004? I have a clean stock bumper on it and was thinking about building one but if the price is right I might jump on it. Stg
