Default Quality of parts - is there a difference?

Where do you all buy parts? I need to replace the window regulator motor, $211 from Rovers North (and it'll take a week to get here) and $130 at Oreilly (but I can pick it up today).

I've bought some branded headlights and badges and the window regulator from Rovers North, got a drive shaft from Atlantic, but curious on the difference in quality from Oreilly. Quicker and cheaper, but will they fail?

I haven't bought a lot from AB or RN. From my experience a part is a part these days. Unless it's NOS it will mostly likely be rolling off the same product line & then tossed into a different box at the end which also changes the price of the same exact part.

Lucky8 really treated me good on my last order. Arrived 3 days earlier than expected and the part was cheaper than any other LR parts dealer. Rock Auto is excellent and if you catch em on a crazy close out = you can get super duper deals!

My general rule is "I like to know what I'm buying".

One thing I've learned. Several of the online parts sellers don't disclose... and you get Britpart when ordering Land Rover. Or URO when ordering something that's a "house brand". And on Amazon there is now "Proper Spec" which is basically we can sell you whatever brand we want (I have gotten "Proper Spec" parts that are both Genuine Rover and Britpart now...). Drives me crazy. And "Atlantic British" brand often means Britpart.

Just tell us what it is already.

BTW my favorite non-LR channel parts suppliers are Rovers North, JLR Classic in UK, Rimmer Bros in UK. Shockingly many parts are cheaper from UK even with shipping (and the last Rimmer Bros box I got took 4 business days to west coast USA and I saved over any source ordering here)
