Default Question involving 15 inch rims and Cragar Soft 8s.

So, I'm looking for steel rims and like the idea of 15s. I've heard of a few users running 15s from old BMWs. I've seen pictures of old 5 series rims on our Discos and I've heard of rims from old 3 series cars working too with the gravel guard removed. I was wondering if anyone had given Cragar Soft 8s a try. I know that the 16" 5x4.75s will work, but I was curious about the 15" 5x4.75s. Even if the gravel guard has to removed, that's fine. If nobody knows then I may just order one and give it a shot in a few days.

Thanks everyone!

Oh, and I forgot to include that they are 8 inches wide with a 4 inch backspacing.

As long as pattern matches and bore is big enough.
Trashing the guard is no big deal. I threw mine in the trash a long time ago. They just were trapping to much of the earth. My concern would be caliper clearance

Yea, that's my biggest worry too. I wish someone I knew had a set I could try them. I might check craigslist or some local tire shops to see if anyone would just let me try one.
