Quick expert help needed regarding fluid changes
Spike,
Thanks for all the help. I went back and started her up, shifted through the gears and then filled it up. Did this a couple of times during the fill and kept it runnin. (Burned my arm on the exhaust once but such is life) It took a total of 5 1/2 quarts, which is what I expected. It was coming out in a bout a 1/16 stream when I put the fill plug back in. I'll check it again tonight to make sure its full.
I hope this one lasts as long as my original, bought new (true one owner), 1994 Disco I which has 250,000+ miles. It has never had the head off and still runs. I'll be selling it for a parts car as soon as I have this 03 sorted out. I don't do any heavy off road so I can live without the CDL. I use it mostly like a mule and occasionally tow a 5000 lb. load (maybe once or twice a year). Thanks again
