Default A quick tip for the oil separator

While I am waiting for the PO to deliver a new oil separator and assorted hoses, I thought I would get the old oil separator out. Here is what I did:
1) Soaked the OS holding tube with PB Blaster for about 12 hours
2) moved all small plastic hoses out of the way
3) Using vise grips, I worked the tube back and forth VERY, VERY slowly. I then came at from the top with the vise grips, twisting very slowly with some upward pressure. Popped right off, easy peasy.
4) Using a bench vise. I place a small Philips head screw driver in the hole and tapped, moving the screw driver to get at various spots. After about 10 minutes and various pieces falling out it was completely out.
HERE IS THE SNEAKY PART:
A .45 CALIBER BRONZE CLEANING BRUSH FITS PERFECTLY INSIDE THE TUBE!!

Using the brush and carb cleaner, the tube looks like it is factory new.
I also used pipe cleaners to clean the breather hole as well.
Hope this helps someone. Time for me to pay back all the great tips I have gotten here!
