Default Radiator Bleed Pipe

My radiator bleed pipe just cracked this morning. I did a search and noticed some people have used fuel line to replace the bleed pipe...is this a safe fix or safe enough to work until I can order a new bleed pipe? If so, does anyone know the size of the line?

Thanks

Sure I repaired mine with some 1/4" (or whatever size it is) fuel line hose hose until I could get to a Land Rover dealer. The part is like $20 from a dealer btw.

Okay, cool. Yea, I've got a quick trip coming up this weekend and just want to get it functional until I can pick the part up.

Thanks for the feedback.

just use the fuel or radiator line, it will work great, and will probably last much longer than the oem Land Rover part. Just be careful that the line doesn't kink as it comes out of the radiator or into the overflow tank. Same line will also work for the line that goes to the throttle body heater plate. Phil
