Default THE RADIO HAS GONE MAD!!!

good day to you guys and gals

my radio/cd player in my 98 disco has gone weird on me. First it was in anti-theft mode (i couldnt touch it or it would beep for about 2 minutes..etc) so i disconnected the battery from the car (just negative terminal) reconnected after about 10 min and now the radio wont even power up. So i disconnected the entire battery for about 10 min and it still wont power up. Its supposed to blink code at me correct so i can push the radio code in? Or maybe something else is wrong. Any comments are deemed helpful. Thanks in advance.

Well, unhooking the battery wasn't and shouldn't be done as a means of fixing problems.
Bet thingh you can do now is unhook it over night and hook it back up to morrow, then try to enter your code.

could it be a fuse, on my range rover a coin once got into the cigarette lighter and shorted out causing the fuse to blow, the climate control, radio cigarette lighter and i think the power seats went out

the driver seat has some sort of feature that only allows it to be moved when the driver door is open. the same can be said for my 98 disco. im gonna contact a dealer regarding the radio and let you know my findings.

you may try removing the radio completely and having a good look at it. Most car audio will have a fuse in the head unit itself seperate from the main fuse in the underhood panel. if that one goes out, no radio.
