Thanks, Racer; yesterday I found the leak on mine is not by the draining tubes. Will fix per your recommendations.

Zeroone's self-leveling system is short of doing the self-leveling uphill.

Lol. I dunno. It just amazes me how pretty much every other car I have owned that came with a sunroof had a drain on each corner. Why this one doesnt? Beyond me.

I can tell you this.. it does not leak a drop otherwise. Spent the last 3 weeks resealing the sunroofs. Almost exactly as stated in a previous post.

Parked facing downhill allows only front sunroof drain pan to drain.
Rear drain pan can't send water back uphill to exit the rear.
Has anyone modified the drain tubes using hose tees to connect
front to rear pillars drain hoses? This should allow rear drain pans to drain when parked down hill.
For parking facing uphill, has anyone drilled the rear of the drain pan and inserted nipples so each drain pan has a nipple at each corner?
Is the rubber seal EEQ500010 the seal that the glass compresses against? I went to the local LR dealer but they only sell the entire sunroof assembly. Their parts breakout did not even show a seal against the glass! Where can I buy the replacement seal? Can the old seal be sprayed with something to give it new life?

Having an 03 (without sunroofs,) I always park facing downhill rather than uphill so that the oil pump is full when I start it up.

Install an LR sunroof it'll leak even more but at least you'll know where the water is coming from.

The sunroofs work fine for the first few years until the mastic seal between the sunroof frame and bodyshell roof hardens and deteriorates and the body flexes and the mastic breaks down and lets in water. Another problem is the drain tube wells block and the drain spigots snap off so the catch frame overflows or leaks inside. LR have known of these issues almost since new if you checkout their technical bulletins. They even carried on fitting these sunroofs on other models later. They aren't a recall item as they aren't safety or life threatening so a low priority in their book. The only time they would do a fix was under the 3 year warranty when a customer complained regularly of water ingress from roof lining or the sunroof. Nothing mentioned about the subsequent damage to the headliner which latterly delaminates and droops down. LR aren't unique on this it also happens to many other vehicles, like BMW, and they did.................eeerrrrrr.................noth ing also.

I wish my 2003 TD5 didn't have sunroofs and to make things worse has rear A/C and the rear overhead ducts have to be removed to fix the rear sunroof leaks. Can't imagine why I need sunroofs anyways, I never use them, and I've got front and rear A/C so they are somewhat useless.

Sounds like some really good quality tape should be in your future. Seal completely around the sunroofs and call it a day. (Maybe pull connectors off Sunroof switches too, just so you don't tear the tape.)
