Default really stuck and not sure what to do.

so I am trying to remove the rubber piece inside of the rear prop shaft and replace it with the new one that came with my rotoflex. it is stuck and I can not get it to budge, is this piece pressed in and I need a puller to remove it or something? and when I get it out do i need a special tool to press in the new one? I have torn it up a bit trying to get it out so now it needs to come out!

I used a chisel to cut it down all the way on one side, then it was easy to pull it out with a pair of locking pliers. The new one, I just hammered in with a piece of wood and a hammer. No sweat. Is been there for 30K now.

bigger hammer and a new chisel worked pretty well, unfortunately got the whole thing back together and I am still feeling the vibration under acceleration. Anyone got any ideas of what I should check next?

Oh, that is a whole new piece of information. How certain are you that the vibration is coming from the rear end and not the front? You may have posted before and I missed it. I assume you already ruled out the obvious, tires wearing uneven, tire balance, bent wheel, wheel bearings.... what have you ruled out so far?
