@acg thanks Andrew, I think I am good I have 4 milk crates and some 4x4 to support the bumper while I get things lined up.

One thing that you might have to adjust if you go with this bumper are the tail lights, tehy have 2 plastic clip that catch the metal edge they may have to be very slightly relieved. More on this later

Well the bumper is on it was a little more work than expected and will likely come off in the spring for a few tweaks.

As noted by @Davis31052 there are a couple of issues with the side wings. There are 2 causes :
  1. The central mounting portion that connects to the hitch area if this angle is off a bit you will have some issues. In my case the bumper sits a bit high and is angled upwards a hair. This can be corrected - but not at 6 deg C in the rain in the driveway
  2. Previous damage, I discovered my rear bumper had been replaced and the right side mount is slightly bent see making the problem above a bit worse once again fixable in the spring.
Installation AB suggests you just have to loosen the hitch, skip that and remove the hitch center insert 6 bolts way easy to get the bumper on, if a bit annoying to get back together.

It took me an hour and a bit to remove the old and get the new one on.

A couple of pictures sorry for the fuzzy it really started pounding down

Left rear - Note the slight tilt

Right rear notice the trim is forced up a bit

Hard to tell but there is gap between the bumper and cover bit. It is bigger on this side (right)

Left side, less of gap but a slight buckle, trim would fix that

Congrats! I am amazed you were able to do it so quickly. It has been very wet all week long!

I almost had one of those bumpers until Extinct beat me to one at an LKQ by 10 minutes.

I just got one for free a couple weeks ago, nice replacement to the OEM stock bumper no doubt!

Only thing I would personally recommend is trimming the lower plastic trim pieces that sit just in front of the rear bumper. When off roading if the metal bumper flexes at all it will push into/onto those trim pieces & they'll break off or explode. Cut off like 10-12mm from each back edge and you'll be good to go!
