Why????? That hasn't caused your problem, rover use of only 2 spider gears is the problem.

The traction control is hard on the axles shafts if it is over worked, but you have to be wheeling every day for a year before it will destroy your diff.

So, have you found a place to buy a "USED", not new 3rd member yet??
A new one is over $1300 and good used one can be found for $50 and up.

No, I have yet to find a place to get a good used one...hell i would be willing to pay someone to ship one out to me if they found one, because i dont see myself having much luck where i live...
