Default Rear end almost touching the ground

So my drive shaft went out the other day. My wife was driving in the neighborhood and it went, did not damage anything from what I could see, couple dings underneath, nothing maj. So, the truck has been sitting in the garage, doing some other work up front. I noticed tonight that the back end is almost on the ground! I figure it's the air suspension but not sure what caused this while sitting in the garage. I did disconect the battery while working on it? Or, could the shaft have hit something that I did not see that would have affected the suspension??

Thanks for any ideas,

I'm not certain about the DII, but my RR air system used 1/4" o-rings(2) @each tubing connection.

I bought @ true value ($1.50/12)(16 total) and my RR didn't bleed down after that.
I had also replaced air bags tho' the old ones didn't leak. (160k miles)

luck,greg

You have a leak somewhere. Check all of your lines. Might have nicked one when the shaft went. Once you get your shaft fixed, turn it back on and spray soapy water on the bags and work your way up to the pump checking for leaks

mine leaks down every night. It's not that big of a problem right now, it airs back up in just a minute..first bump out of the driveway is a rough one though. Start saving up for a coil conversion, I'm going to lift mine anyways so that will be a good time to do it.

also, search on here..a guy just posted an update to a cheap air bag fix.

If one side leaked down, it is a bag leak, if both sides have leaked down, evenly, then it is electrical and when you hook up the battery you should be fine again.

Why is it that everyone wants to get rid of their air suspension? I love mine and it has helped me in several different ways. Fix it and keep it. Its good stuff!

Thanks for the answer I was hoping for Mike!! Both sides are even, was hoping just electrical from disconecting the battery. This would have been the last thing I needed this week......putting in new drive shaft and doing head gasket, valley gasket, heater plate gasket, new plugs/wires (8mm Magnecor), on & on.

Thanks again!
