This goes into the drive shaft. You need to remove the rear drive shaft for replacement, which is not that hard. The hardest part is to get the old bushing out. Either you get special tools for it or you just do the grease pump/ dry ice method: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...77/#post796215

For the kit I got GKN ("made in Germany").

Nice technique to swap that. I think I’ll put that little bushing on the shelf for the time I get a mystery vibration I cant locate.

Thanks John, I have also seen flex disks in worse condition. Right now i have a bit of time on my hands that probably wont last long. So, I’m trying to tick a few things off. I’m swapping in the genuine LR part, so hopefully wont end up creating a problem where one didnt exist.

I regret that I didn't replace the bushing when I was replacing the Rotoflex. Would have saved me trouble and time. And it's not that hard.

New genuine disk fitted.

the old one had cracks, some deeper than surface. But I’ve certainly seen worse on YouTube clips. Video shows the worst.

Feels good to have a new one in there. And the old one gets to ride around with me as a spare for the rest of my life.
