Still on the hunt for a disco 2 and found one that had a rear frame that was repaired on one side. I wanted to get some opinions on the repair on the passenger side and also the condition of the drivers side. This is a 2002 with 170k on the clock. The photos uploaded were taken by the seller so I have not been able to feel the integrity of the drivers side rails. I am looking to drive this through this winter and I am not opposed to repairing the rails in the future, but do not want to have to immediately put the truck up / invest more than 1k in the repair. Other than the rear frame, the truck is in very good condition and looks to have been serviced thoroughly within the last year.
Carefully look over the rest of the frame. I got a 2004 that I had the frame repaired similar to the pictures. But I also got the truck basically for free and know that a repair like that will only be temporary. If they want more than a couple thousand walk away.
