Default Rear fuel door piston actuator

Is there a way to lubricate this mechanism? When I press the button to open the fuel door, the acutator makes a loud noise like the piston or something inside needs lubrication.

How do i access it?

Many thanks,

Marc

Remove the lower right rear cargo area trim pieces, it's bolted to the inner body frame with three nuts, (I think 8MM socket, maybe 10mm). A new one is cheap, right at the $55 mark and part number FUG100580. They do normally make noise though, even brand new out of the box. Won't even attempt to describe the normal sound but noise is normal.
