Default Rear ride height after new springs

I replaced springs on all four corners of the 2002 yesterday with just new stock-height springs from Lucky8 (Allmakes brand). The fronts are great and sit where they should (500mm) but the rears appear lower to me by a bit and measured 460mm (should be 475mm). We loaded the disco for a trip this morning and it sagged a ton. It's the same kit we always bring on this particular trip, and the new springs sagged way lower than old springs (with 180K miles on them btw). Did I buy the wrong springs? They seem way softer than the stock springs but they should be the same.

Are you sure that the old springs where stock?

Get a set of D1 spring lower spring perches. You'll gain 1/2 an inch of lift vs the D2 units.

Oh, really? They’re just a direct swap? Never heard of this mod before. Cool!

Yep, I have them installed. Still won't help with the sag rate of the new springs though.

Yep it won't help at all with whatever spring rate the springs are rated at when loaded, but unloaded the D1 lower rear spring perches will make it sit darn near level from the sound of your setup. D1 lower spring perches are 100% compatible.
