Default Rear right (passenger) window not working

Hi and thanks im advance for any help!
My rear passenger side window has stopped working. It's a 2004 Discovery 2
Driver side (left, it’s a LHD) is good. I swapped the switches between left and right in the doors as well as in the console.
When I activate the switch up there is a slight noise in the door by the motor. Very brief. Down position there is nothing. I have also checked the wiring going to the switch and here’s what I found:
Rear right (defective) has 12v to 2 only
Rear left (good) has power to 2 and 5
Console switch has power to 2 and 5

What do you guys think?

Am I missing something here?
According to this diagram, the only way for the rear switch to be able to give power to the motor would be if the console switches are activated...
This makes no sense. It doesn't show the interaction of the Body Control Unit or how the rear switches can get their own electrical power to the two terminals for up and down switching.

Alright I get it. They are all normally connected and the ground return is the actuating path...

Default Fixed

Well I will report back in case somebody else has the same issue...

I found that the wiring loom had been looped from the factory so it would just about touch the bottom door lip. That being a sharp edge it finally cut theough the one wire as per the picture. All good now! I added a corrugated sleeve so it is better protected against chafing.
