Default rear window rubber weatherstripping removal

Got a rusty metal divider strip on the rear door windows. Tips/tricks on removing the big **** rubber weather stripping. TIA

Follow rave procedure to remove the inner door panel, then you can remove the weatherstripping. It is only held on by two metal clips, but the door panel and inner weatherstripping has to be removed first. Once you get it removed, you may have to pull the whole window frame, as the rust is likely not isolated to that one spot. When I changed my power locks I found the lower part of all the window frames were rusted and needed a respray.

I have the same problem with my 03'. Going to try and repair the rust but may need to buy a replacement set for $300.00 from roverland.

i'm just going to remove all the rust and spray paint.
