Default Rear Wiper Issue

It's raining today and the rear wiper will not make a full sweep of the window. It will rise to a 45 degree angle on the window and stop. Then it will rise to a 90 degree angle and stop. Sometimes it will go all the way down and start the 45 / 90 thing again; sometimes it will do the 45 /90 thing going back down.

When I cut it off, it's hit and miss where it will park itself on the window.
If I use the washer function, it will wipe in a continuous motion, but it's still hit and miss where it will park.

Bad Motor? Bad Switch? Something else to try?

It will be one of two problems, either the pivot nut is loose, or more likely the wiper motor's park switch is failing.

Thanks Mike for the quick response. Bad Park Switch. Is this something that I can rebuilt/replace or just get a new motor. Also, will a motor from any disco work or just certain years?
