Default rear work lamp ideas ?

Hey all. I am looking into installing a rear mounted light and looking to see what you guys have all used? It will be for light in the back while camping. I have a Baja Rack, so mounting is not an issue. Im thinking LED would be great.

Any ideas? Pictures would be awesome. Thanks !

There was a guy on the forums who used a high-mounted flood that he wired to come on when he shifted into reverse. He also wired a kill switch so he could choose on/auto-with-reverse/off.

Kinda cool.

Very good idea about the wiring to reverse. As far as the cheap Chinese LED, I would rather not put the time into the installation for the light to stop working after a month.

Cheap chinese. I got mine at pep boys for $20. Been a while now, and they work great. Mine are run off a house battery, with a 100w solar panel for charging. In the picture you can see the lights up high and a volt meter and swittches down low. Above the switches is 2 12v outlets. Under the trucks bumpers are 12v LED daytime running lights. The battery and panel allow for us to charge phones, computer etc and run lights all night if we want.

Agreed, cheap is good better to buy $20 than waste $500 and find they are both made in China anyways.

to work in reverse you just tap the power off one of you factory reverse light.
everything on a LR does not have to be brand name,
you can buy a couple dozen imported lights for the price of one ARB
