rear work lamp ideas ?
I would never add a high load flood light to the reverse lamp circuit, you're just asking for trouble. Even an LED flood array has a much higher draw than the low Candle Power reverse lamp bulbs.
its an LED but you can make it as complicated as you want.
you also have several fuse power sources in the back of the truck that will not require running wires,
such as the rear lighter in the cargo area.

I accounted for that fact in the second paragraph of my post. I still stand by the use of a relay to mitigate electrical issues. Our trucks burn down enough already, we don't need to give them any extra help!
Do they just burst into flames, no LR warning light that tells you to get out and run before it blows. I wondered why there were rows and rows of d2 in the boneyard i thought it was engines but all along it was wiring ill have to look closer

It's not the wiring, it's oil cooler lines. I'm not sure why you're being sarcastic...I'm only offering advice to questions that were asked.

Ehhh, it all depends on the amperage a led light draws.....if it's less than the reverse lamp bulbs circuit is rated for, then I'd tap the reverse bulb. If it's more, then I'd run a separate circuit back to the fuse box and add another circuit. Never to the battery.
But I'm just a factory trained grease monkey.....
