forgive me or this morning a long night.
I should have explained that running a hotwire the full length of the truck is really the last thing you want to do. even when the factory does it for things like the rear lighter the wire is still in a safety loom to protect it from chaffing.

Dont get caught up with lumens etc. The manufacturers all lie anyways. The light i have are 4" LED auxilary lights. Plenty bright for most camping activities. I supplement these with chinese surefire knockoff "ultrafire" flashlights when I need more light. Be sure to change your interior lights over to LED also if using your truck for camping......
