Default Reclining rear seat mod?

So, this is probably a testament to me watching too much Velocity TV, but I have the goal of making my D2 the ultimate road trip car. Normally I don't care about the back so much, but we have a baby now, and I think it would be nice to have a reclining rear seat in the back next to him.

First St thought was transplant out of another car, but that is a long shot, and would mean re-upholstering the seats. So then I thought a used D2 Front Passenger seat in back replacing the large part of the rear seat. Could probably still have it fold if a shop did it. Would be kind of cool IMO.

Lastly, I could try to install a reclining mechanism onto the seat. Would be able to find one in a junkyard off of some kind of seat probably then for it to the current seat. This would maintain the look of the vehicle and wouldn't reduce storage.

What do you guys think?

I guess if you find a matched color front seats and fit those 2 to replace the factory installed will look great. But you will loose a fifth passenger. Great for long trips.

I hate the jump seats most of the time, but they do come in handy.

If the the rear seat reclines I will have to chop the panel in that side.

Two front seats could fit without doing it, but it may be cool to chop them off anyway for drink storage, snacks etc. Problem is we have a car seat to worry about for the foreseeable future.
