MD will handle the bumper no problems. I would rather have softer springs TBH

The dirt roads out here get horrendous washboard, and unless I air my tires WAY down...like 10-15psi it'll darn near shake the truck apart. I'd ditch the HD springs in a heartbeat if I didn't have to tow a 20' boat.

The only time the HD springs are soft enough for me is when I'm fully loaded with four adults worth of camping gear/food/beer/ammo etc. Otherwise they're way too stiff.
