Recommended brakes?

I stopped by Autozone to read the codes. It came up P1590 Their computer said it can be one of a few things:
- neutral position switch circuit high input probable cause
- open or short circuit condition
- poor electrical connection failed neutral position switch
Way over my head... any thoughts? How bad is it to drive my Discovery w/the four codes lit up on my dash? I drive to work 1 mile and back 1 mile and then use the company truck. I am due for a tire rotation and will have they look at the pads/rotors this weekend.
