Recovering headliner, do I pull this off?

Should also mention that alcantara suede headlining material is a PITA to stretch, you will always get more wrinkles than a standard material.

I learned this when I redid my door cards. Ended up having an upholstery shop do it for $800.

Finally I got the headliner lined and everything back in. I love the color scheme, it matches the door lining material quite well. Unfortunately it isn't perfect, but for saving $800 and having a nice headliner again I am very satisfied. There are two small wrinkles and some imprints, but you see them only if you are staring at the ceiling for a long time. The biggest challenge was to get the headliner material pushed into the corners. The material didn't stretch well, it needed quite some force to stretch it and I had to repeatly pushing it into the corners before it finally sticked.

Nice work. We’re always our own worst critic’s. I did my P38 headliner a few years ago and there are some flaws that no one else notices. I don’t think about it anymore either.
