Remove sway bars?
I noticed my front sway bar has a nasty bit of rust on each side. Looks like it still has life in it but I don't want it to spread. I hear people have removed them after putting on new shocks and springs. Anyone remove theirs?
An option I personally would never consider, they are there for a reason !!....
Removing it when "offroad" does give more articulation and is a good thing, but for on road, its def worth keeping especially on a D1.
I would remove it and clean it up, refit it again, and if you need more articulation when offroad fit a set of disconnects to it so you have the best of both worlds

i took my rear one off months ago... never really noticed a difference on the road, off road you can tell bc when mytruck flexes out the rear tires rub hard on the fenders since i never trimmed them...
I had both disconnected and hated the way it rode on the road. It always felt like the truck was going to tip over in a curve. When I reconnected the front sway bar it was a lot better. I removed the rear completely and have not regretted it.
