Default Removing air intake studs?

Is this what’s needed to remove the air intake studs? It doesn’t seem the air intake brackets/pipes bend enough to slip them off the studs and I don’t want to break anything.

Put this socket on and remove as if it was a bolt or are the threads backwards on a stud so it would be removed wrenching the opposite direction?

Anyone know what size/threading bolts should be used instead? Pretty close to having the upper intake removed to install the coil packs - might end up dealing with the valve covers and valley pan gasket/seals too. Thanks

Install 2 nuts back to back & use 2 open end wrenches to tighten them against each other, then remove like it's a bolt.
