Removing rear door panel

Removing rear door panel
I'm having the ever popular non-locking lock problem in the passenger side rear door of my 2000 Disco. I'd like to get in and take a look at it, but I don't want to damage the door panel. Has anyone pulled one of these off before? Is it just held on with clips like standard door panels, or do I need some sort of metric Land Rover Widget™ with Hyper-Spanner© Technology that can only be bought from the dealer for $349.95?

RE: Removing rear door panel
Hello
all you need to do is remove the screws holding the backing plate from the interior handle and from the interior door latch. then you can use an everyday weed puller from your local garden store to pop the pins that are holding it in place. I am having the same issue with mine and I think it is the
lock accuator i havent had to time to look furhter though. Good luck
